TALLINN — In an era where time is as valuable as leib, a new Estonian startup named ‘Mitte Täna’ has developed an artificial intelligence that claims to end the misery of unwanted meeting invitations once and for all.
The AI, equipped with advanced algorithms, can detect phrases like ‘Can we schedule a quick chat?’ and ‘Let’s touch base’ which are universally deemed signals for time-wasting.
”We want to save people from unnecessary meetings, where they spend more time saying ‘uh-huh’ than actually working,”
The AI not only automatically declines these invitations but also sends a generic response, ranging from ‘Sorry, too busy pondering life’ to ‘I’m currently trapped in a sauna with no Wi-Fi.‘
After extensive testing, the AI reported a 90% reduction in meeting attendance and an increase in people expressing gratitude for unexpected free time. In initial feedback, users even claimed to have discovered hobbies they forgot existed.
The startup is now seeking funding through e-Residency channels, hoping to turn their AI into the go-to assistant for every Estonian office worker tired of hearing the phrase ‘Let’s circle back.‘
At press time, Juri had declined yet another unnoticed Zoom call.
