TALLINN — A local startup founder, Avi, has claimed to revolutionize the sauna experience with his new digital app, ‘E-Sauna’.

In a press conference held on the cobblestones of Kalamaja, Avi excitedly showcased how the app would allow users to book sauna slots from their phones, order towels, and even choose the perfect heat setting.

”Estonians love saunas and technology, so why not combine them?” said Avi, proudly wearing a towel as a hat. “It’s all about convenience!”

However, after a full week of silence, it turned out that ‘E-Sauna’ merely redirects users to his e-commerce site where he sells various sauna models.

”I thought ‘digital’ would mean ‘smart,’ but it just meant selling more saunas,” Avi lamented. “But hey, all the guests started doing their meetings on sauna benches, so maybe it worked out for the best.”

Officials from the e-Estonia initiative praised the effort, declaring it “a bold step into the future of borrowing money to buy saunas.”

In response to the doubtful public, Avi assured everyone his app will soon feature virtual reality sauna experiences, allowing users to sweat together from the comfort of their homes.

At press time, Avi was spotted at Selver trying to explain to customers why they should also try ‘Sauna-in-a-Box.’
