TALLINN — In a stunning display of courage, local resident Mart Kask has been awarded the ‘Most Unfathomable Act of Bravery’ award for boarding a tram in Tallinn without first checking the arrival schedule.

The 32-year-old graphic designer stepped onto the Number 3 tram during rush hour, a decision many have called ‘an act of madness.’ Tram delays typically average 15 minutes, but Kask felt confident in his choice.

”I just thought, how hard can it be? The trams are always on time, right?”

Witnesses describe the moment as tense. One elderly lady reportedly shouted, “Is he insane? Everyone knows checking the schedule is just common sense!” This did not deter Mart, who reportedly offered to share his kohv (coffee) with fellow passengers, raising further eyebrows.

The award ceremony will take place at a local sauna next weekend, promising a traditional Estonian ceremony complete with black bread and awkward nods of approval. Fellow attendees are expected to share inspiring tales of their own public transport experiences, but only the brave will understand.

At press time, Mart was spotted getting ready to reboard the tram for the return trip, still without checking the schedule.
